Coastal & Condo Security in Cocoa Beach
Cocoa Beach is one of the most condo-dense communities on Florida’s east coast, and that creates very specific security demands. HOA lock restrictions are common—many condo associations require that exterior door hardware meet specific finish or brand standards, and some prohibit drilling for additional locks on unit doors. Before upgrading your lock, it’s worth checking your condo docs. We’re familiar with the most common Cocoa Beach condo associations and can advise on compliant options.
Ocean-facing units take a beating from salt air. Standard brass deadbolts corrode visibly within 1–2 years in direct oceanfront exposure. We install stainless steel or PVD-coated hardware on A1A-facing units to dramatically extend hardware life. Sliding patio doors on oceanfront balconies are also a recurring service call—original sliding locks wear out and become easy to bypass. We install secondary Charley bars, key-locking foot bolts, and anti-lift pins to reinforce these doors.
Vacation Rentals & Short-Term Locks
Cocoa Beach has one of Brevard’s highest concentrations of short-term vacation rentals. We set up keypad and smart lock systems for Airbnb and VRBO hosts throughout the area, including remotely manageable options that let you change codes from anywhere. We also help hosts who’ve had a guest refuse to return a key, or who need an emergency lockout response between check-in and check-out windows.
